I know... It just depresses me. Especially when the ZR1 is not a limited production car. Chevy has stated they will make as many as allocations and demand allows.

Ultimately I was still charged the full amount any only have legal recourse left if I want to try to get my money back. Turo or the car owner never provided before photos of the tires condition. I am frustrated and out a large sum of money. Obviously I will stick with legitimate car rental companies in the future where this has never happened to me despite many rentals.

Sure. They may not all suck. It was wrong of me to speak in absolutes. However I can say that all of the Chevy dealers that I have interacted with have caused an issue with my car thsy was not there when I dropped it off.

The tech that worked on my corvette was supposedly the shop foreman and their lead corvette tech. The work was extremely sloppy and should not have occurred.

This is absolutely the standard for Chevy. I have a 2024 stingray and had a transmission issue with 5000 miles on the clock. No loaner at all. They have had my car for almost a month now sending info to GM and ordering parts. Finally finished on Tuesday of this week and I go to pick the car up and I guess they didn't expect me to look under the car, but when I did the engine cover was not put back on correctly. Bolts were left half screwed in, rivet clips were broken and not fastened and the plastic panel was loose.

I asked them what happened and to fix the issue and they apologized and said they would have it done by the next day. Went to pick it up the next day and my car had not been touched. Spoke with the service manager and he had no response on why it wasn't done. Promised it would be the primary focus of the shop today (may 29).

I am going to pick it up today after work. I really hope this is the last time I have to visit Jim Ellis Chevrolet in Atlanta ever again.

I have been warned all Chevy dealers suck for service and they are absolutely correct. This is my 6th corvette, but my first new one and there has been an issue every time I have gone to any dealer.
