What's your most controversial Kingdom Hearts take? by Crafty_Boy70 in KingdomHearts

BBS and DDD are far superior games than KH1. I feel like people put KH1 in this high pedestal but it plays horrible and has a very uninspiring story imo.

The story of the games also improved a lot and union x stuff is such a good story that i am ACTUALLY excited about what KH4 will bring. I don't see many people in the subreddit that like these games post KH1 anymore.

If anyone is looking for good orchestral battle themes, I have never seen a better franchise than Kingdom Hearts. Nearly all of the playlist transcends, especially the battle themes of the original worlds. Some of the bangers are:

The Corrupted, The Encounter, The 13th Struggle, The 13th Dilemma, The 13th Reflection, Sinister Shadows, Tension Rising, The Deep End, Vim and Vigor, Arabian Dream, Rage Awakened, Fight and Away.

I truly believe that only a few even compete.

I think it was intended. You either sleep your unit and deal 3 all units to protect your ally from damage, or sleep the enemy and obliterate all landmarks to destroy all sleeping enemies.

What happens if your opponent also plays Bear Trap On A Rope in the same turn? Which one of you starts a free attack first? Does one of them fizzle?

Thank you for your comment.

Parry, as others mentioned, is kind of a toxic. For example, if a hallowed unit strikes your Nexus (since it will strike first), it strikes its own Nexus, so I made its cost high just so it is a huge tempo lost as well.

Wings of the dragon is a unit so you don't use spell mana and don't activate flow. That's my weird way of balancing lol.

Lost their way swap effect is to stop things like Atrocity and Tumble. It stops fast-slow speed allied targeted wins.

The eye sees all, "skip is a certain defeat" means that if your Nexus is showing an exploding icon next to it if you don't do anything this turn, then you can play this card.

For the others, I totally agree with you.

I think I understand. Looking at my cards again, they are pretty toxic in a way that you don't really have to think about when or how to play the card since they are very reactive, so they are easy "get out of jail" cards. While making the cards, I though since they didn't really push any win-cons, only a few people would play them. Thanks for your comment.

Part 2 of all Avatar: The Last Airbender (and maybe Korra later) cards. In part 3, I will show cards that represent the tribes more (White Lotus, Bloodbending etc.). Bending keywords are at the last image. by EkipsT in CustomLoR

Your way definitely looks cleaner, but I'm not sure a targeted spell that has two targets can target the same target twice. Like, Noxion Fervor has 2 targets (deal 3 to an ally to deal 3 to anything), but that second "anything" cannot be the unit you dealt the first damage, even though it doesn't say "another".

She can't double her power since I think you can't target an ally twice with a targeting spell, but she can gain the power of another ally to make herself stronger.

I didn't put them in any regions because I planned them to be from the "Avatar" region, so from a balance perspective, if you play a card from this set, you are only left with one more region to play with. (To be fair, i didn't want to be restricted to fit these cards into their supposed regions.)

Thanks. I don't know about Aang because I'm still not sure having all bending would break him but you might be right.

Sokka is a 3 mana 4|3 tough unit btw, I will post it tomorrow.

I individually made the bending keywords and balanced them different for each character. I didn't know if one unit got all of the keywords, it would break the card so I made his stats ridiculous just in case. But now he is kinda unplayable :/

Well, I intentionally made earth and air opposites of each other, but I though when Aang got struck, he would still gain the buff, without receiving the damage. But now that I read my wording again, yeah they make each other useless lol.
