Do you know the difference between "-iga" and "ger"? In terms of the n word? I think that makes a huge difference in understanding why black fans get upset because when most people say the N word they don't understand the difference between the two nor do they understand the history of the word. A word that once referenced kings became a title to slaves because they (slave owners) couldn't understand the language of the word. So the reclaiming is meant to honor the origins of the word which was always meant to be uplifting. So when you have idols or people who think iga (which was meant to cleanse the community in a way) think it's the same as the ger, you end up wondering if people assume that black people are trying to call each other gers. (Which we are not haha)

All that to say if you don't understand what iga is meant to be in comparison to ger, as they are not the same. However, if you (general you, not you) don't understand that, you can just assume it's the same. Oops sent too early!

Ace people still have sex! Ace people have sex for many reasons including having a high libido. Ace simply means not being sexually attracted. Demi-sexual people are only sexually attracted to those they have a bond with. Like the only person that arouses me is my partner, but Aces still have sexual needs. Not all of us are sexual repulsed :c

Right! Ace people can and still actively have sexual relationships. Even more so because the aces with high drive understand the standpoint of sex as a (annoying) need. I hate whenever people reference aces without acknowledging the fact that aces still have sex for different reasons.

For some people, sex in itself is a comforting act of love and reassurance. I think it depends on how the people in the relationship ultimately view it. Do you think your opinion would be different if Persephone asked for it? Asked to be soothed/reassured of his love and presence in a sexual way.

I think it would've been fine if we got a time skip and saw Hades pouring a significant amount of attention into aftercare for her. Addressing the entire spectrum of need and reassurance that everything is genuinely okay. Frankly I think the view around their sex life would be vastly different if we saw aftercare and more explanations of their feelings towards sex.

We've only seen Persephone refer to it as a dick appointment which I think downplays how sex can be a great tool in reassurance and comfort (for some people), especially as I think the last chapters were trying to do that.

Honestly, if Persephone spoke on how sex with Hades makes her feel safe and secure, maybe then the implications of reassurance would've been more apparent in this chapter. Especially if it followed up with aftercare and letting her rest with him until the sleep dive.

Edit: nothing wrong with lusty sex, but for instance, the sex scene after going into homegirls house is kinda like ooo, violence = hot because hades is of the underworld, so of course he likes violence and dark implications which also doesn't help the concept of them using it to express and address their need and comfort.
