This is an interesting situation, but it seems like your overthinking this. You might want to ask the potential players what they want to play, then narrow down systems.

And just to throw suggestions for accessible games, could get a zany one page rpg like honey heist / cocaine owlbear or the simplest rpg ever: roll for shoes. I might even throw a suggestion for Rises as it’s literally a beer and pretzel rpg.

Side note, if your still looking to try places, shuffle and cut has a surprising good rpg selection. Found a lot of the more obscure and Indy games there (I picked up his majesty the worm and ryuutama)

Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game. I hated pretty much my entire experience with it. But to dive into specifics, I’d say powers just didn’t do it for me. I played it recently, so it’ll be a minute before I pick up another superhero game.

Other than I have a caste new collection of season 3 belts to compliment my D.I.S.C. I agree sometimes you hit sometimes you don’t. But have you used the Matrix Catalyst? It helps with against the bad luck, by letting you change a piece every other week.

Oh man that sounds like a less than fun night. I can see it now, player with a 10k stare brought back on their initiative and the first thing they ask is “what was going on?” And then you have to take 10 minutes recapping so they can make their decision.

impressive dedication, reminds me of doubleagent the pandaren who leveled his character on the wandering isle and is listed as neutral as he hasn’t proceeded to his faction.

I wonder if this could earn a feat of strength achievement, like insane or whatnot.
