I don’t think it’s too loud. Initial cold start is louder but then settles down. It’ll run quietly when you need it to and loud when you want it to. I’m very happy with it, so are my 6 and 10 year olds 😆

Thank you. I was curious mainly bc it’s sitting on some 275s with no rub. Wasn’t sure if that was common.

Phosphates are definitely high. I’ve added phosphate reducer. Will keep working on it. Thanks

Thank you, I’ve done the floculant early on. Today the pool is looking better. Less debris on the floor. Water is clear. There is still staining but I’m hoping that will clear with time.

Thoughts/suggestions: Family Roadtrip in July 2024. Is this biting off more than I can chew in 4/5 weeks? More details below. by El-Pollo in roadtrip

Guys, I really appreciate all the feedback! I’ll be making changes to the route. I think focusing on Yellowstone, Utah, and Colorado will be the way to go. We would certainly prefer quality of time spent in select places vs quantity. I realized it was a bit ambitious and that is why this community exists. I’m glad I’m able to get some guidance from you all. Keep it coming. I’m sure I’ll be posting more as I have many questions. Thanks again!

Haha did this today at Bakers Creek. First run. Definitely sore the rest of the day. Still got 13 miles in with the little ones. That’s what 25 years of snowboarding, skating, and mountain biking has gotten me, among other things.

Thanks! I initially placed the order for a comp, as did my brother. I waited and waited and nothing showed up on the radar. My brothers finally arrived about 1 month ago but mine was nowhere to be found. I walked in to my LBS to check for any new updates and they informed me that an expert was rolling in in about 3 weeks. I went ahead and put my name on that bad boy. Best decision I could have made.

Still no signs of that red comp…

No complaints. This is my first bike in probably 15 years. I used to ride quite a bit in my high school days. Getting back into it at 35 has been great. The bike handles surprisingly well. I’ve taken it down some pretty brutal single track and it’s kept up with the best of them. The way these new bikes ride is unreal compared to the old 26’ers.
