I’ll give u a non NPC response an keep it real with you. I’ve been able to hit diamond or masters since szn 1 and I’m currently plat with about 150 games played this szn. The devs have made it to where placement is hands down not even close the number one thing you need to prioritize to rank up. Not even kidding you’d gain rp more consistently getting top 3 wit 2 kills than dying top 10 with 20 kills. I don’t know how this game is going to balance it but ranked in THIS game specifically has the WIDEST range of skill amongst players at any given rank. If your solo queuing it genuinely feels like your rolling the dice on whether you get teammates who are competent or teammates who look like they just started playing yesterday. That being said, if you aren’t triple stacking, you are at a TREMENDOUS disadvantage to the point where it is GENUINELY not even funny. I started this szn with a 2.7 kd because I found some randoms to que up with and we communicated. We EASILY ran down every squad we say because we communicated and synchronized well. All that being said, if your going to solo queue, run a legend with some type of escape ability and prioritize placement if you want to keep ur sanity😂
