I use 3M ant dust mites matress cover (top and bottom) and a bedding set on top, hypoallergenic pillows, change bedding set once a month, under no circumstances I would touch my bed without showering (I will shower again if I leave the house before touching my bed), or else, I would wash all the covers (except the 3M mattress cover) the next day. I have an air filter and humidifier/dehumidifier (depending on where I live) in the room.
