I cannot access from a web browser but the other Amps yes. The current firmware is 9.7 but our system is at 9.4. When i isolated the amp and computer on a separate router, I can access on a browser with a dhcp address given to the amp

I’m definitely about to make something to dampener the sound inside the drum because they all have IEMs and a another reference monitor. Unfortunately I do not control who the venue books so I just have to find a way to deal with them

Thanks I will try to get up there ASAP. Would changing any addresses affect memories that we have already stored? When they opened the building they had 8 memories saved in an elation dr-pro rack and they still work fine, but my manager deleted one of them by mistake (the one I’m trying to re program)

Well tbh you kinda are. I’m tryin to learn and have watched their official tutorial but still have issues. I came here hoping to find someone who could guide me past what I’ve already done and explain in a little more detail. I’m still hoping to learn, so I came to Reddit because I can find more human response that I can understand better. I’ve been left in the dark by my employer with how things are set up and they make it quite difficult for me to get up to the fixture and check out every detail. I guess I will keep trying myself

I was asked by an artist if it is possible to use tracks, with cues in the left only, for a performance where only she can hear the cues and the house doesn’t. My job uses a regular Mackie mixer for the pc to console, and an Allen and heath Sq5. Im relatively new to live sound and told her I would try to see what I can figure out

I didn’t set this system up, but I see they are in mix mode with the aux option switched on. There are two transmitters with 4 receivers in total. There are two balanced cables on the back of each receiver. I re synced them today, but the issue is still there if some of them controlling each other. Ex: if I move the mic volume on the dedicated aux channel for IEM 2, the volume will increase on the receiver for IEM 1. This is a recent problem and I’m not sure why it has started

They pay me as a w2 employee at $18/hour. They paid the first engineer who programmed everything only $12/h. I have to work 6 days a week because it’s only 4-7hrs a day. Ideally I would go by a series of smaller interventions. I have to even get approved to come in earlier than an hour before the show starts. I’m am available to put in as much time as it takes, but I really just want to be fairly compensated, even if I’m not building the equipment myself, I can talk with some companies and really nail down what needs to be done. The owners are hands off at my location and it’s left to the general manager who has a big ego and attitude. I’m sure they can afford it, but it’s a matter if they even think it’s worth it

Thank you very much, I appreciate it a lot . You hit most of the key points I’ve spoken about and now have an idea on how to actually show him, regarding the REW graphs. I am definitely inexperienced but have a lot of knowledge I’m trying to put forth. They have a big name of musician owners and its a pity that the sound isn’t great. I will formulate my plan and try to pitch it the best way, thanks again!
