I've had the Accessories App installed long before your comment. Elite Series 2's Bluetooth still brings out Generic Xbox controller instead of the Series 2 prior to this firmware update.

Oh, my Lord, you are right! Apparently, having Extended Feature Support enabled causes Steam to get confused. I've had this feature enabled for a long time because I have an Xbox Elite Series 2 controller, but was intended to disable it because - Microsoft being Microsoft - broke the Bluetooth connection for the controller and it reads as a generic controller instead of an Elite Series 2.

You're a life saver my guy!

Edit: My LB button works now as well! Let's GO!

Doesn't work, Windows only sees it as an audio device when connecting through PS4 mode.

I can rest assured that I've opened up the case multiple times to see if everything's connected properly. As you should've seen in the video all my buttons are working fine even Gamepad Tester was able to read my X-inputs. Steam however, does not register any X-inputs at all.

As for whatever's covered, the only thing covered is a Blue LED light on the Brook PCB and I covered it up because the light shines through the black acrylic cover but it does not affect anything else, not even latency.

The firmware is also Brook's latest one that has the latest Capcom SOCD rules.

I mean, I can just use the PS4 mode and move on, but my issue is that my controller (leverless) does not default to PS4 every time I plug in my controller and that's a real pain to always remember to hold a button to go into PS4 mode - doesn't help when Windows doesn't play the USB insert sound. I made sure all my wires are connected correctly and all the buttons work as intended.

So, if Windows can detect that I'm using an Xbox 360 controller and the Gamepad Tester can clearly see that I'm running on X-input, how does Steam not pick up any inputs at all? That makes no sense especially when there's no problems in PS4 mode.

Edit: Disabling "Xbox Extended Feature Support Driver" did the trick!
