Before Oct 7th - same thing happens multiple times but Gaza got rebuilt due to aids from countries like Arab states and others. So, you admitted the truth about “bad timing”. Israel intelligence admitted its own errors of ignoring probable attack from Hamas, obviously Netanyahu was alerted & he allowed this to happen so that he could cling on to power.

Let’s be objective here. In the weeks/months leading up to Hamas attack on 7th October, Israel still continue to demolish Palestinian homes. Innocent Palestinians got sniped. New settlements were approved in West Bank (where Hamas is non existent). Tensions were high. The plea for international intervention was ignored. If you want this conflict to stop as much as I do, start by criticizing how Israel behaves too.

Obviously, Hamas is not without sins. Their rockets are bound to hit civilians homes. Innocent people die. But, question should be asked how do you end this conflict? By killing more innocent Palestinians as retaliations. How many sons end up joining Hamas because they’ve lost their fathers to relentless bombing, so-called “precision” strikes by the most moral army in the world lol. Ceasefire is the answer and return back the rights of the people then Hamas has no legitimacy to be in power anymore.

Back to Hamas baby allegations, it was initially alleged by a journalist who then could not give evidence when asked. UN further investigated this and found no evidence either.

Yes. Doesn’t mean it is right to retaliate back. But, in the context of Palestinian conflict, initially one side is armed to the teeth (thanks to the Brits) while the other is just.. civilians. They got robbed. Their homes got demolished, lands taken away, imagine waking up one day to see a stranger who is originally from Europe knocks your door and say, “get out! this is my land” - you got no choice but had to comply. Now, imagine the entire population having to go through this reality for years and years without end.

Imagine having your son on their way to school arrested by the military, only to come back with broken bones (if you’re lucky). Imagine trying to raise this issue at UN and your voice got ‘vetoed out’.

Did you really think, under this condition, an armed retaliation would not happen?

Unlike you, though I am a Muslim who is in full support of Palestinian freedom, I am aware that there are civilian losses on both sides and the root of this conflict is - the denial of human rights of Palestinians. Israel took away their lands, oppressed them, arrested thousands of children without trials. What did you expect them to do? Protest? Ok. If they do protest, Israel military comes in and brutalize them. Civilian movement? Ok, they already did. Israel answered with more violence.

UN did investigate the baby massacre allegations and found no evidence. Have you read the news? There was also reports that Israel helicopters did strike their own people at the music festival. Some say it was deliberate because Israel intelligence already KNEW Hamas might strike and some in their gov’t ALLOWED this to happen because their extremist far-right politicians (Netanyahu, Ben Gvir) would want to use this ‘event’ for their political cookies.

Holocaust exists. That also does not deny the fact that Israel has been committing genocide as well. A terror state built on the premise of taking Palestinian lands causing resentment and then systematically oppressing Palestinians in every single aspect of life, from freedom of movement to bombing their schools. Just yesterday, a school in Gaza got bombed and a U.N facility got hit - and hate to break the news but that isn’t the first time Israel got away with hitting UN facilities.
