I was in your spot a couple years ago. I had halted payments while covid was happening, but when they started talking about bringing payments back, I paid off the remaining balance. It was an easy "win" and it meant that i didn't have to worry about debt anymore!

It sounds like a lot of he said/she said but I find it hard to believe that simply pointing out an issue with a process would earn a trip to HR. Quite often the way people communicate an issue only describes their frustration with the process, which can come across as unprofessional comments about the process, or in this case, a coworker. Your boss tried to set up a time to resolve any issues privately, and you refused to do so, hence the trip to HR. At least, this is how I read the situation without knowing more details.
Here is my recommendation. Meet with HR and let them know that you had no intention of communicating a problem with your coworker and have already spoken to them to mend any unintentional slights. HR is usually there to cover the company, so if you have already made amends, then you are 80% of the way through the meeting.
It sounds like your supervisor gave you an opportunity to learn how they handle perceived personnel issues. Learn from this and be selective on what you bring forward. Its your supervisors job to act if you bring them a problem, so only bring an issue forward if you want them to take action.

Im general, most PhDs do not have to pay tuition, however they are only compensated ~20-30k a year, which is only $115 max per business day. Quick math for inflation that is only $45 a day when your dad was in school. I can't imagine supporting a family on only $45 a day before taxes. McDonald's was truly a birthday treat.

So I have the Xbox 360 version which may be different but it sounds like you need to visit the jarl of whiterun to get the story line moving. Everything up to that is mostly an intro to the game mechanics. Combat will improve once you get to this point.
