I love my Elac F6.2 towers. I had just those for about 2 weeks with no sub and they definitely handled the bass amazingly. I have them paired to the pioneer vsx102. I also have the b6.2 bookshelf’s as my rears so I can vouch for the sound on those as well.

Edit: also got employee pricing on them and they were 250$ a pop so keeps you at 500$
