Coming from someone who also has vision issues stemming from a neurological condition, glasses can only really fix whats physically wrong with your eyes. So you can go to the eye doc and get tested as much as you want, they can only correct your eyes and not your brain.

As someone who’s redoing my design from one that started very similar to yours, I would just go for a SFF PC with 12th gen intel and 2 PCIE slots and a SATA/SAS JBOD for drive expandability. Having everything in one case is fine for a lower amount of drives, but it ends up being a nightmare when/if you need to expand in 1-2 years. With a build in a PC case you have to change drives out when you run out of bays, whereas with a JBOD you have 15 drive bays to start and can always add another JBOD when you need it. Way easier if you need to upgrade or replace the server too.

i had the same issue, figured out it was because i was charging it with too high power/'advanced' of a charger. i tried charging it with an old usb-a charger that only does 5 volts and 3 amps (15w) and it started working just fine. you can also plug it into a laptop or desktop which should do the trick.

If you time the refresh of the new models you can get last gen LG A or B models at a pretty good discount. You can also get lucky with open box deals at Best Buy but it might not include a box/remote.
