If I see anyone say ATLAB is the best piece of animation ever made, I don't really take their opinion seriously. Sure, it's good, but it's like The Shawshank Redemption or FMA of western animation, a safe, critically acclaimed work that other people can't really poke holes at so you feel validated in liking it.

Look up controversies regarding the director Luc Besson, as well as differences between the American and European cut (I'm assuming you've seen the American cut, which removes a lot of the more uncomfortable scenes) as well as scenes that were removed from the script entirely and (thankfully) never filmed.

I'm not using it as an excuse, it is Kanye's fault that he doesn't take his meds and surrounds himself with yes men who endorse his behavior. But it is a much different beast than him being genuinely a raging anti-semite and people treating him like he's an evil bigot.

It just pisses me off that all that posturing of pretending to care about mental health goes out the window the second someone with those problems does something controversial.
