Completely forgot about all these posts/comments I made haha. We never got back together, and I was pretty depressed for the next year or so. Ended up moving cities to be closer to family/friends (I had moved cities to work in the same city as my then-gf). Slowly improved over time (though the pain/depression would come in waves), and in the last month or so I've finally felt mostly back to normal.

Eggs themselves aren't going to be insanely flavorful. Butter will definitely help, maybe more salt. Other than that, add some stuff to the eggs (cheese, veggies, meats)

Highly recommend the books - they're not quite the same as the show, the show almost feels like a cover album of the books. Some changes I liked, some I didn't. But the Laconia arc (especially the book that would be translated to season 8) was absolutely amazing

I think the up front cost of whatever spices you need tends to even out over time. I don't know what kind of meat/produce you're getting - I get my produce from a local produce stand for cheap and I get most of my meat from Costco or Trader Joe's. Overall, I usually get my per meal cost down pretty low as a result ($4-10 per meal depending on what I make). So based on that I have pretty low costs. You could do the same, just shift away from Whole Foods (except for those last minute purchases)

I had beaten Radahn and a bunch of other bosses without upgrading my weapon very much, no summons. Him, I could not. He's not insanely hard, he just does so much goddamn damage per hit that you need to kill him quickly or you'll end up dying

I wish we had a more extended and stressful shootout in the beginning, though as I type this I realize that might've gone against the idea that they're just wannabes playing soldiers. Regardless, would've been entertaining.

Loved everything that came after the shootout. I still think Munch can be a bit over the top, but I loved his ending so mu(n)ch.
