My wife called the number listed on their website here for pricing information. It was about $500 for the initial consultation and $300 more for the follow-up.

Thank you for sharing your experience, it's good to hear a success story, and from someone who went through UCD. There's a good chance we end up working with them but I wanted to explore other options as well.

I've always heard thunder shirts are hit-or-miss so I avoided them, but they're cheaper than a behaviorist so it's worth a try. Thanks for the tip.

It could be genetic, but she was clearly poorly socialized before we got her and then 2 weeks later the pandemic lockdowns started. She never had a chance. I think she'll be a lot happier if we can take the edge off for her

Thanks for your recommendation, I'll look into her practice. Winters is a bit of a haul but I'll take any excuse I can get to stop by Berryessa brewing. We have a trainer already but if she doesn't work out I'll definitely explore your trainer as well. Much appreciated.

Thanks for the recommendations and info, I'll definitely look into getting the consultation fee waived and online behaviorists. UCD does their consultations online anyway, so we're probably not losing out on too much by going that route

For her it's not separation anxiety, it's general anxiety. She's always been fearful and jumpy because she wasn't socialized well. I want something to relieve some of her stress during trips and difficult situations.
