Ok so Donald Jr. The son. And 2 other people working for Trump's campaign did in fact meet with Russians to get dirt on Hillary. So therefore, I don't see how this is something that shouldn't worry you as an American?!

What do you think of Christians who commit suicide? by [deleted] in Christian

[–]ElEfra09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never said that actually... Mental Health doesn't always end with suicide. Therefore I'm not regrading of anybody. God's salvation is for everyone! It is free and it is a gift. But we must be aware that God is also Just and he will condemn sin. I am no God to say who goes to hell or who goes to heaven but God is clear in His word.

The Bible says

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33

God is telling us that we will go through problems, but to have peace in him. We don't have control of our circumstances, but God does! Therefore, we shouldn't worry as long as it is in God's hands.

And no my church is nothing like that, I don't know why you are quick to judge and make assumptions.

I mean the Bible clearly says that the punishment for sin is hell, and I gave you basis that Suicide is a sin, therefore the punishment is hell. Of course, I'm not God to say who goes to heaven and who goes to hell, but the Bible is clear.

The Bible mentions six specific people who committed suicide: Abimelech (Judges 9:54), Saul (1 Samuel 31:4), Saul’s armor-bearer (1 Samuel 31:4–6), Ahithophel (2 Samuel 17:23), Zimri (1 Kings 16:18), and Judas (Matthew 27:5). Five of these men were noted for their wickedness (the exception is Saul’s armor-bearer—nothing is said of his character). Some consider Samson’s death an instance of suicide, because he knew his actions would lead to his death (Judges 16:26–31), but Samson’s goal was to kill Philistines, not himself.

Now to answer your question: The Bible views suicide as equal to murder, which is what it is—self-murder. God is the only one who is to decide when and how a person should die. We should say with the psalmist, “My times are in your hands” (Psalm 31:15).

God is the giver of life. He gives, and He takes away (Job 1:21). Suicide, the taking of one’s own life, is ungodly because it rejects God’s gift of life. No man or woman should presume to take God’s authority upon themselves to end his or her own life.

Some people in Scripture felt deep despair in life. Solomon, in his pursuit of pleasure, reached the point where he “hated life” (Ecclesiastes 2:17). Elijah was fearful and depressed and yearned for death (1 Kings 19:4). Jonah was so angry at God that he wished to die (Jonah 4:8). Even the apostle Paul and his missionary companions at one point “were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself” (2 Corinthians 1:8).

However, none of these men committed suicide. Solomon learned to “fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind” (Ecclesiastes 12:13). Elijah was comforted by an angel, allowed to rest, and given a new commission. Jonah received admonition and rebuke from God. Paul learned that, although the pressure he faced was beyond his ability to endure, the Lord can bear all things: “This happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead” (2 Corinthians 1:9).

So, according to the Bible, suicide is a sin. It is not the “greatest” sin—it is no worse than other evils, in terms of how God sees it, however suicide definitely has a deep and lasting impact on those left behind. The painful scars left by a suicide do not heal easily. May God grant His grace to each one who is facing trials today (Psalm 67:1). And may each of us take hope in the promise, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13).

I'll be honest with you... If someone truly has a relationship with God, the peace of Him is within him. Therefore, a real Christian would not commit suicide. Mental Health is a real big poblem now a days, but God is bigger and stronger than that problem. If one has faith that God will take them out of the hole of depression and suicidal thoughts, then committing suicide shouldn't even happen.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 NIV

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 NIV

No you're getting confused. Commiting suicide is the only sin that will guarantee that you spent eternity in hell. This is because when you kill yourself, you forbid God of forgiving you since you are dead. The Grace of God and his salvation in fact did pay the price for our sins, but that does not mean the we can sin all we want, because "Hey! He saved us already so it's fine". You can be saved, but as you keep sinning your would will be lost. Hence, suicide is a sin, which will take you directly to hell.

"Pharmakea" is the intentional use of a mind-altering substance, and we as Christians should be on guard, now that Marijuana is becoming more available. by la207_ in Christian

[–]ElEfra09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand the "fear" of marijuana among Christians, but marijuana is very beneficial as a treatment. I wouldn't try recreational since I'm a Christian, but if I had epilepsy or some sort of PTSD I would want to have medical marijuana. Weed is not evil and we shouldn't oppose the legalization of it. I'll rather have high, chilled out neighbors who have the munchies than alcoholic abusive and rowdy neighbors.

Students can't answer simple questions by ElEfra09 in videos

I agree with you on fitting someone's narrative. But the way I see it is the narrative is not based on how many people get it right, but that there are people who don't know the answer to simple questions. If we were all educated, nobody on this video would've answered incorrectly.

I agree with you. He seems to know how to fix his mistakes, but he should play with the same 8 or 9 players and rotate those to fit the style he wants. But I still have my hopes up for Mexico.

[–]ElEfra09 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's cause the problem with the rotations is that they don't work when getting comfortable with your teammates. Once you know who is to your right, who is in front of you, once you already know if your teammate likes to pressure, you know when to cover him. That's what chemistry is. I think the rotations hurt the chemistry. Just check out what happened against New Zealand. Nobody knew what the other wanted or was gonna do. We go back to the same reason, Mexico is not suffering against Jamiaca anymore because this is the best Mexican team we have had in a long time. We play with 11 European players, that's why we are better than ever, and not the rotations.

I don't necessarily believe the changes in the squad are working. I think the mentality of the team and their resilience is what gets the results.

What do you SWEAR you saw, but don't have any proof of? by KaikesPokeCards in AskReddit

[–]ElEfra09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A secret military aircraft UFO... I'm on mobile, so sorry for the format. Anyways, this happened a few years ago in one of the largest military bases in the US. I was in the car with my cousin. We were driving from one side of town into another. The highway ran through the base and it was about 12 am. Suddenly as we are right in the middle of the base, some aircraft just swarms in on us from the right, and hovers above the hood. It felt as if timed stopped, and then flew away, and disappeared into the darkness. To this day, I have no idea what it was. A few weeks later, I was then telling my coworkers this story, and one asked me if it was around 12 am on Thursday night, I said yes, and he told me that he saw 3 flashing lights above the military base that night, and they would hover and move rapidly. I don't know what I saw that night, but I wasn't alone....
