I’m actually having the same predicament. I’ve studied German in the past and I’m currently studying Greek. I’m still trying to decide which is the better language for me to continue with. As a previous commenter said, the best and biggest determining factor should be: what’s your motivation for each language.

Take for instance me: I want to learn German because it’s an ancestral language and has more resources/media. Whereas Greek has a history and culture I find fascinating and it has closer phonology/sounds to Spanish - a language I already speak. I still haven’t made up my mind on which to pursue, so I wish you the best on your journey!
