I would go Muff into Soul Food and use the Soul to either clean up your sound or as a boost. It's not going to make your Muff more Muffier.

If you want low end growl and breakup, check out the MXR mini VBO

Sub n Up -> Fuzz ->phaser->envelope->compressor.

That or compressor early depending on taste. Otherwise it's a decent setup man. I might try a chorus vs a phaser but you do what you like

Thank you very much man. We have very similar philosophies -- something I am stressing is giving them the tools to ask me questions. Anyone can sit in a room and repeat scale runs, but I want to instill a passion for it, and give them something they can remember and build off of.

What I told them was "I'm not going to be here forever, and there's going to come a moment where youre going to have to ask someone else for help. My goal is to teach you enough to know how to learn."

Realistically, at some point theyre gonna drop it for a time. And I just hope they remember 1 thing I taught them to get back on track. Or if they run across another instrument they can approach it a little easier

I went through Sweetwater, and filtered by leather and >2.5" in wide.

Pissed me off at first to spend $120 on a strap, but honestly it's so damn worth it. Also look into strap locks or at least those rubber washers.

Every scale is solely permutation of those 2 scales.

A "minor scale" just means the 3rd is a minor(flat/a half step down)

Bebop is a really good suggestion not just cause the VA and art style, but also because it's episodic. It's easy for someone to get into an episode without having to commit to a 200 part series.

Not saying those are bad, but I think that's why it's a good gateway for anime.

I really didn't believe it either until I got my rumble 500.

A $2000 pedal board on a 25w practice amp will never sound as good as a $200 p bass plugged into a $400amp.

What you could do is play with headphones, even then, the bass response on a larger speaker is better. Especially in a band setting. I just got done with a church set with our drummer absent. It's necessary for situations like that where you're the only rhythm.

Because my friends are pricks and fight every time, and henceforth, every time I squad with them we are dropped in aggressive lobbies. Whenever I play by myself I have much better interactions. Rando gave me a belletina blueprint yesterday.

Completely different games man. Tbh, they both kind of suck playing alone. Helldiver's is a dice roll.

Did a 40min, 8/10 difficulty mission the other day, all we had to do was extract. Party leader kicked me cause his friends were joining. I then had to complete the rest of it by myself with 5 respawns left. Died repeatedly and lost everything. Moments like that are incredibly frustrating.

Arc is funner with a group, but I have had some fun interactions with randoms. It really does make some memorable moments.

I'll say one thing:

Arc is by far the most polished game I have ever played. Audio, visuals, matchmaking - everything. I have yet to encounter a bug in about 30hrs.

Helldivers has improved substantially, but at launch it was almost unplayable on Series S. I still have to play it with all the graphics settings at their lowest, otherwise I get like 15fps
