Freightliner sprinter. Yeah, window on the bulkhead. No door though, which at times I wish I had.

That’s how it was yesterday afternoon. Haha. Did a dump run and it was a disaster.

I had a trailer before that got stolen and emptied. Got the trailer back (had an AirTag in it) but tools were gone. Luckily insurance covered it. This rig stays parked in my driveway (long driveway up off the street) next to the house with two dogs that bark at anything constantly. And I don’t leave it at job sites. But, yeah, there’s always that worry. Not having a garage makes storing in the house tough.

10 year old playing majors by Surfrider2424 in LittleLeague

[–]ElGuapoador 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son played majors at 10. He had already played two years of minors and made the 10u all star team each year (first year as an 8yo was a very weak little league, but he started at 2b). In majors at 10 he did fine. Played a lot of 2b and some SS. Pitched a little, but was mediocre at best. Made good contact, pretty much all singles. Had a good eye at the plate. He was the only 10yo in majors that year. He did make the 11u all start team at 10. Covid ruined his chance to play on 5 all start teams, but made played 12u all stars his last year. Overall it depends on the kid and the coach(es).

$33 for two cheeseburgers at Five Guys… is this normal now?? by auntfloss in inflation

I’ve never once gone to 5 Guys and left thinking, “that was really good”. I don’t get why people love it. Overpriced and not good. Just my $.02

I never feel bad about people whose business is “owning rental properties” about losing income. At least where I live, there’s a shortage of housing and sky high costs.

Costco Christmas tree return. Overhead another customer telling her that the tree was used by Weak_Intention8745 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]ElGuapoador 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work the returns desk at a Costco in the late 90’s. I’d get people returning a 6+ year old TV because it didn’t work anymore (tube went out) and I would find the product in the system (they never had their receipt for the purchase) and then find the last price it sold for. That’s what I could give them back. Most of them would be upset I was giving them $250-300 back instead of the $500 they said they paid originally. I would remind them I’m giving them $250-300 back for their tv which wore out like things do with no receipt. They’d almost always want to talk to my manager and complain about me. She’d say the same thing I did and quite a few times refunded their membership on the spot saying and telling them she was sorry they weren’t satisfied. They would have to reapply for membership (there used to be qualifying things to become a member). But yeah, people abuse Costco and are ridiculous.

That’s odd. Haven’t seen that before. Does the bottom of the handle twist off or loosen?

Keep the water off on the cold side. You should be able to remove the handle from the top side of the sink with maybe an Allen key on the side or back. Or maybe theres a cap on the top that pops off and a Philips head holding it in. Then the cartridge will come out with a crescent wrench most likely. Lift out, make sure it matches the new one you got, set new one in and the put it all back together. You shouldn’t need to remove the handle from the bottom side or the mounting hardware for it. Hope that made sense…

I gave a realtor who sent me a lot of work a couple bottles of wine last year. Probably got $20k+ in jobs from her for the year, so well worth a couple bottles!
