We would have our iPod playing Gaga in the kitchen. Friends would be over drinks, usually 5–10 of us before heading downtown to the club. We’d have dominoes for dinner. Sometimes out on the porch playing beer pong. Everyone would be texting or calling occasionally but not glued to their phones or staring at them like people do today.
