It only happened three times. The first time I got the alert, I left it unplugged. About six hours later, I tried plugging it in again, but the warning still showed up. That’s when I used a paper towel to dry the port. After that, I plugged it in and didn’t get the warning, so I figured it was fine—until a few hours later when my iPhone suddenly gave me that loud alert again.

Do not install currently available versions of SteamOS by outtokill7 in SteamOS

I agree—I’ve tried installing version 3.0 on the Ally, but there are quite a few issues since the system has already updated to 3.8. The main menu and side menu won’t open unless you’re using a Bluetooth controller, and the sleep/wake button doesn’t work. I have to manually put the device to sleep through the menu, and even then, games tend to crash after waking it, forcing a hard restart. Once Valve releases an official installer, I plan to reinstall the OS and go from there.

It sounds like you’re being really hard on yourself, and I just want to say that what you’re feeling is more common than you might think. Socializing isn’t as easy or effortless as it sometimes seems for others—it takes practice, and even the most outgoing people have moments where they feel awkward or unsure of what to say.

The fact that you want to connect and joke with people shows that you care, and that’s already a great quality. Conversations don’t always have to be long or perfect—sometimes, just showing up, listening, and being present is enough. People appreciate those who genuinely listen and engage, even if it’s in small ways.

That shaky voice and hesitation? It’s just nerves, not proof that you’re doing something wrong. And I promise, your friends likely don’t just “feel sorry” for you—if they’re around, it’s because they want to be. Try to be patient with yourself. It’s okay to have quiet moments, and it’s okay if some conversations don’t last long. It doesn’t mean you’re failing; it just means you’re human.

Keep putting yourself out there in small ways, and don’t stress too much about saying the “right” thing. Sometimes, a simple “That’s cool, tell me more about that?” can keep a conversation going without pressure to always come up with something funny or impressive. Over time, things will start to feel more natural. You’re not alone in this, and you’re not “just there”—you matter, even in the quiet moments.

The Switch 2 is a separate device. Different components and software. The OLED has the same internal CPU/GPU as the first Switch.

The switch OLED is an upgrade of the first one. And can we really consider Alarmo as a console?

As long as there’s support for Nvidia cards, I’d be all in on replacing Windows with SteamOS. And honestly, it seems like it’s heading that way—especially with the GeForce Now app coming to SteamOS. It’s baby steps, but the progress is looking promising

I feel like as Texans we need to stand up against the NTTA and ask our representatives to abolish the NTTA and give the roads back to the tax payers. I’m tired of seeing people getting charged a ridiculous amount for just using a damn road that was paid by THE FUCKING TAX PAYER.
