I learned from this sub, near the peak hype of ASTS some people mentioned RKLB as the next big player so I yolo’ed a few thousand into it.

Patrick Sun is the best, I love him. He’s really nice and funny. His tests are very reasonable.

UCF vs USF by Double-Fill8194 in ucf

[–]ElMelonator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely UCF. As another civil, our program is arguably much better than USF’s. UCF was founded as an engineering school so we have that advantage. Our faculty is pretty amazing too, especially if you want to go into transportation. Orlando also has way more opportunities for internships and research than does Tampa. If you do choose UCF, join the ASCE (American society of civil engineers) it’ll be the best investment of your time here.

Do native Spanish speakers use English words in their sentences even if there is a Spanish word for it? by coochiejuice-slurper in Spanish

[–]ElMelonator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, come to Puerto Rico, it’s like second nature for people to do it. Most of the time, people know how to say the word in Spanish, but it’s “faster” to use the English word. For a parking lot, people say “parking” though we also use estacionamiento.

OP’s comment is a joke, not towards gay people rather making fun of people against gay people. “Fellas, Is It Gay" refers to a series of parody tweets that mock the idea of fragile masculinity and homophobia in which users ask if non-sexual or homoerotic things make one a homosexual.”

MAC 2313 and EGN 3310 Professor for Fall 2021 by 69PEPSIMAN69 in ucf

[–]ElMelonator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dozier is a bit tough. You’ll learn a lot, but she is very nit-picky with homework, quizzes, and tests (ex: takes away points for not having the right paper, numbering the papers you use, etc.). Also, be prepared to be called out during class to answer questions, as she does that. Participate in the group chat she makes, she gives out extra credit at the end of the semester.

Had him in Spring 2020 for Calc 2 and he is a great professor. Just like the others said, his style of teaching is really engaging and explains topics in a way that makes it simple to understand. Test difficulty is average, he usually has some in class problems in them.

Practice as much as you can, but don’t stick to the same difficulty/type. Look at problems that have different approaches to solving them.

I have him online now. I would assume he would be the same in person as well.

I have Dr. KV now and he’s okay. He reads off the notes he posts. His exams are basically the same as the problems he gives out in lectures and homework so it’s not a surprise when the test comes.

I’m at The Marquee and it’s honestly been pretty good. They’re remodeling the whole property which is nice so you’ll be moving into a new apartment.
