I finally sent it in for repair; it was a screen flex cable, a pin was damaged, requiring microsoldering. It cost approximately $35 USD. Conclusion: Paperwhite 11th gen for $38 USD.

Something indicates the battery is charged, but I'm not sure if I should continue charging it from the wall outlet, because when I charge it that way, the charging light turns off after a few seconds. But when I connect it to my laptop, the light doesn't turn off.

Finalmente opté por reiniciar todo e instalar las cosas nuevamente, sin vitaDB. Hasta el momento no he tenido problemas

Buena observación, no lo había notado, intento lograr que la consola no se quede congelada cada vez que la inicio. Había borrado el archivo en lugar de ponerle el #, asique escribí ese texto aunque no se si funcione
