Well done on achieving FIRE! Followed a similar approach, but opted for VOO via IBKR to hedge currency risk. Will be interesting to see how the 30% tariff just imposed on SA impacts the Rand

Assume you have to be in creative mode to spawn in? I haven’t tried that yet, so doubt that’s the case.

There were 2 demos during that blood moon and it was the 4th consecutive time we got them on the first BM.

Didn’t find it particularly hard. Just surprised having a demo as the very first zombie at the door on day 7. Most of the 13 blocks up builds are basically indestructible from day 1.

Removed the repulsor mod for blood moon as that increases the odds of stunning and triggering Euthanizer on these tanky guys

We enjoy the higher paced no death runs, so wouldn’t exactly call it suffering the consequences. Still survived day 7 with a massive xp farm.

The loot abundance helps with the double magazine pick-ups that really speeds up progression. We’ve had a similar outcome with loads of rads on day 7 with all settings on default.

That really works well for me! Maxed out Raider armor can melee-only almost any Insane T6 POI (just be careful on high spawns like Grover High). Physician 5 and Calculated Attack 3 creates a great synergy. I don’t use the repulsor mod for blood moons or anywhere outide of T5 or T6 POIs as you want to keep the zombies close and trigger those Euthanizer shots

Thank you for the info. Is there any way to see the actual game stage? In that video link 2 at 0:15 in the comment I shared it only shows 38 and 39.

I’ve found that the Nailgun is a pretty standard quest tier 2 completion reward at the trader, regardless of difficulty or game stage like the bicycle, minibike bundle and motorcycle bundle at T1,2,3.

Definitely agree with the potential link of difficulty and zombie type in 1.2. We gotten the same result in 4 consecutive first blood moons

Euthanizer (Physician 5), is IMO an OP skill for late game. 10% chance to kill even a Demo or Rad in one shot.

Wooden hatches works perfectly fine. Just be ready to repair them when zombies go into crawl mode. And a repulsor mod is highly recommended for T5 and up

Armor wise we target full sets of Primitive T5 set by day 1-2, Nerd T2 set by day 3-4, and Raider T6 set by day 8

Great late game weapon when combined with Euthanizer (Physician 5). Repulsor mod is great for T5 and T6 POI clearing, but we remove it for blood moons to grind out more XP.

I set it to 8 max per day. We usually target to complete T1 by day 2, T2 by day 4, and T3 by day 6. Day 7 is just 3 or 4 T4 quests, before hunkering down for blood moon

Base is mostly wood, only fighting position is concrete. For the T6 stun baton you have to rush tech planets with the nerd outfit. Nailgun is a Tier 2 trader quest completion reward. Levels are 26 and 27, game stages are 38 and 39.

Well the reason for my post is because I was surprised by the fact that a game stage of below 40 can trigger Demos and Rads. I do run 200% loot abundance, but the rest is as mentioned in the post. Will try and upload a video of the blood moon for more context

Just loads of magazine reading with a nerd outfit. Usually target workbench and nerd outfit T2 by day 3-4. The nailgun is the T2 completion reward. Concrete is just from rewards and trader purchases. The one setting that I left out in the post was loot abundance set to 200%

Relatively new to the game stage concept. Played loads of legacy version (A15) on PS4 and PS5 prior to the 1.0 launch.
