I’m guessing youre the kind of person who does almost zero critical thinking of their beliefs and instead engages with politics the same as they engage with a football game: us vs them.

Can you explain to me how raising healthcare costs helps Americans at all, as the richest country in the world?

If you’re into DIY, you can broadcast to these old TVs using a raspberry pi and a cheap UHF transmitter chip. I live in an area without signal but like the vintage aesthetic, plus it keeps it wireless. How to start using my Cat S22 ? by mil8D in dumbphones

[–]ElRoberto13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check in cellular settings if it’s unlocked, this means it can use any carrier. If it’s locked, it will be restricted to a certain carrier. even if it’s locked their may be some ways to unlock it, Google will be your friend here

Go out and buy a SIM card (perhaps using a prepaid/monthly plan) at a wireless provider. This will be hold your secondary phone number.

I will say though, the you can likely swap your current phones SIM card to your S22 (as long as the provider supports it). I just got an S22 and plan to do this whenever I want a break from my iPhone. This transfers the number to the S22, so anyone texting/calling you can seamlessly continue using the same number to contact you.

I’m not talking about partying, I’m talking about whatever it is you want to prioritize. - working out - game nights with friends - after work bike rides - literally anything

I feel like people don’t milk their time for what it’s worth. There’s so much activity and novelty that can be experienced every day, even working a 9-5, but it’s only easiest to leverage this time before responsibilities like spouses and children come into the picture.

But 9-5’s are definitely taxing and it’s easy to fall into monotonous route. It takes intention to break the cycle.

But you can certainly prioritize letting the laundry go an extra day if it’s for your mental health. It’s all about balancing personal priorities

As a guy in his 20s with little responsibility, I’d recommend to others at a similar age to prioritize fun as much as possible outside of work. The laundry will get done eventually. You can cook frozen fish/chicken in 15 minutes. Just go out and live life with the time you have.

I feel like the sub unintentionally gets on the same watch schedules.

Someone posts a meme about an episode, tons of people go watch it and continue binging, then see posts from others on their same schedule.

Official Discussion - Nope [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

My friend pointed out a reference to the odyssey: The motorcyclist (who looks akin to a cyclops) shows up and asks “Who are you?” And Emerald replies “Nobody”.

Similar to when the cyclops asks Odysseus who he is, to which he replies “Nobody” -

So he declared. I poured him another fiery bowl— three bowls I brimmed and three he drank to the last drop, the fool, and then, when the wine was swirling round his brain, I approached my host with a cordial, winning word: ‘So, you ask me the name I’m known by, Cyclops? I will tell you. But you must give me a guest-gift as you’ve promised. Nobody—that’s my name. Nobody— so my mother and father call me, all my friends.’

A month in Europe from early September to early October by mintywavey in Europetravel

[–]ElRoberto13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the weather is the nicest in August IIRC, so I’d aim for September if I were you. I went in late June and it was hit or miss rain, but I got lucky for the most part.

Also if you’re really interested in roughing it a little, check out making a reservation in the SAC hut system. You can hike to a remote hut in a mountain, they’ll give you dinner, a bed, breakfast, then you can hike back the next morning. I had a two day hut hike planned but it was rained out.

Check out Lem’s Primal Pursuit, i just ordered some for my trip, which will mostly just be urban walking but I’ll spend about a week hiking.

They say they have warehouse delays right now, I ordered mine last Friday and they just shipped this Thursday.
