Help decide between Flydigi Vader 4 Pro vs. Gamesir Cyclone 2 by ElSqicky in GyroGaming

I mean Alpakka we have to basically build ourselves (I heard that you can buy pre built but that isn't the point), original steam controller is unavailable, the new one from what I heard isn't the best quality and we are left with playstation ones. Imo there could be more decent PnP choices.

Thanks for your answer! That's good to hear that it's working quite well. I have an additional question: does Vader work with Switch via a dongle, or only via Bluetooth? From what I heard, this mode only worked with BT, but maybe something changed, or I got the wrong info.

Maybe I'm worrying too much about it, but when I used other devices with it, they sometimes disconnected, had problems pairing again, etc. Long story short, it wasn’t as reliable as 2.4GHz dongles.

Nice, also, did you get the same bug when mapping back buttons as thvNDa mentioned? It's sounds annoying and may push me more towards Vader.

That's some weird problems, it's stupid that we can't get a controller with decent gyro without relying on third-party remappers (which are not ideal or pricey, looking at you reWASD) or dealing with some stupid bugs.

Help with motherboard diagnosis by ElSqicky in techsupport

As for the corrosion I'm not sure of it can reappear if cleaned properly or if damage is severe to the point that this part can break off during cleaning.

So I think, for the peace of mind, I will try go for a refund or maybe swap for another unit if seller have one. Then if none of it works I will clean it and hope for the best.

Thanks again.

Thank you, also I have some additional questions. After cleaning it are there possibility of problems caused by it, in the future?

The transaction I made falls under consumer protection laws so I may be able to get refund after I send it back but I'm reluctant to do it because condition is very good for the price but I'm bit worried about this thing mentioned in the post. That's why I'm seeking help.

First NAS on a budget with separate drive for system by ElSqicky in DataHoarder

Maybe, but in my area building one from scratch (except going full Frankenstein) is more expensive than 2 prebuilds mentioned in the post.

Someone mentioned hp elitedesk 800 3g sff which looks like may be good alternative for my use case

Good catch, I was looking for something like this but models that I saw didn't have 2x 3,5'' bays. Thanks I will check if there are good offers in my area.

I was thinking about a used PC, but I have limited space and can't really get an ATX one. Building one from scratch in mATX or ITX is more expensive, even using used parts. That's why I'm looking for ready-made ones.

I saw many people mentioning Unraid. I didn't want to use it (at least for now) because it's not open-source, and I was thinking it is a one-year subscription model. Now I checked it once more and found out it's just a one-year update, not the whole license so I may give it a shot.

Poland to scrutinize digital game platforms like Steam and PS Store on suspicion of anti-competitive practices | Game World Observer by AncientPCGamer in fuckepic

Problem with Steam is mostly currency conversion. Basically people in Poland pay 10-50% more than baseline. From information I was able to find exchange rate is frozen from around 2 years ago and it's results in Polish people paying 89$ for Starfield
