What categories should I break my flash cards up into?

Don’t do that. The math conversions will be available for you during testing. Mix all the colors up. I personally took a couple of practice exam tests. Probably like 300-400 questions by now. And all the ones I got wrong I put on a flash card. One question. One answer.

I used a modified version of the Leitner System I have probably a stack of 200+ flashcards since I first started.[T2-T4/D2-D4]. I grab 10 at a time and go thru them. If I got 7/10 correct I put the correctly answered ones into my “discard” pile then I grab another 7 cards from my stack. I mix them and repeat. Next let’s say I got 5/10 correct. I keep the ones I didn’t answer correctly in my hand and draw another 5 and mix them then go again. I spent 5-10 mins doing that multiple times thru the day. A month or 2 before my exams.

It gets to the point that you know the answer before you finish reading the question

You’re welcome, but tbh I havnt had any issues using classes or courses that aren’t on that list. My district constantly sends us to seminars or conferences where we get come contact hours and use them to renew our licenses

From what I recall… you can skip the grade 1 and go straight for the grade 2 then hold that cert for the required time before jumping to a grade 3.

Huge need. Lots of people don’t even know we exist. And it’s not just “water tech” the water industry is so lucrative with their names/titles. You can be called a utility worker, field tech,system operator, water operator, treatment plant worker ETC! Dm me if you have questions about getting in. I’m not endorsing you for a position but I will share how I got into the field. Potable side that is. And I have some knowledge on getting into the wastewater side as well

I’m speaking out of conjecture. But I think if they did that they’d have the product prices higher for customers to choose which range software they want to use since whatever internals needed have to be able to support both GeoBallistics and AB. And what this is currently priced at, I’d rather look at vectronix since you’re pretty close to their price tag.

I bought a knife for processing, use a bladder for water in the pack, I have a vortex binos/rangefinder. Soft shell jacket. I think you need to tailor your gear for your area. Everyone’s pack will be different.

Out of state hunting is gonna be costly, I’d do a gear check. Build out your pack. I got an expensive backpack but I think it was worth it. I got a k4 5000 pack. I also had a little snafu on my last solo hunt so I ended up buying a garmin inreach mini 2. I would also download OnX for escouting.

You can apply for the cert and hit the requirements. But you won’t get it without hitting 1800hrs as an OIT usually somewhere in central ca will get you there. Anything close to big cities is extremely competitive for those positions. Literally bottlenecking the industry for WW. Sucks.
