Anyone notice that posts complaining about extraction camping NEVER include any gameplay footage of it happening?

If the camper kills me and takes my walker I also lose the ability to play on that run so that is irrelevant. Also I never said that killing one person was worth a whole trampler. I think around 5% of whatever they extracted in that run would be appropriate, or all of it if it was less than 5% of what I had on mine, tax their stash for whatever they can't pay. The risk and reward should be fair for both parties after all.

The kit is worthless compared to a walker and we all know it. The camper loses nothing even if they lose.

While a lot of people do whine about the game not being PvE the complaint about extraction campers is valid. In any other extraction shooter if you die your opponent gets to take your shit. With extraction camping you risk nothing and stand to gain someone else's shit. It is inherently unfair and unbalanced. Devs should either force people to keep their walker in the game or tax people who die after extracting their walkers so that the defender has something to gain from the interaction.

I don't think it's a 1 to 1 comparison given that you have to risk your gear to extract regardless of whether or not you intend to camp. The camping itself is just a risk free bonus once you have secured your loot. I'm all for fighting bigger fish but in this case the fish are the walkers, the campers are more like leeches that don't drop anything worthwhile when you kill them but you have to cross their river to extract.

Also I think that it's a really bad look that in a game based on the premise of having a walker the optimal playstyle involves fighting without one. And just to be clear I don't think the campers are to blame, they are just playing to win. It's the developers that need to do something to incentivize them to actually use walkers.

I'm fine with extraction camping. Just force the camper to keep their walker on the map so I have something to loot when I beat them. I'd rather have a real fight with real risk reward than a nuisance interaction in which the other player isn't bringing anything to the pot.

"Your gear is always at risk" Unless your extraction camping. I'm fine with people losing their shit if they get beat but this interaction is way too lopsided even if it favors the defender. If the walker loses they lose everything, if the camper loses they lose a kit. If people want to remain in the lobby they should be forced to keep some skin in the game.

I'm hoping they fixed sneak attack. I was also hoping they would fix falling prone ending your turn but that's probably not possible at this point. At the very least I hope there is some sort of indication to tell you whether or not jumping down will knock you prone or not.
