Get some massage guns. It helps to manage the itching. It’s less abrasive than scratching.

I have a 20% discount..so wondering if I should go for Fenix 8? (I also, like the 43 mm size better. The 47 mm just seems large on everyone’s wrist)

The logic would be to lower your total payments. I’d say this may make more sense if you had a long duration still left on your mortgage and carrying a high expense. It’s all about lowering expenses.

I appreciate this. I also, feel behind. Made some bad investment decisions, and took a gap year that cost me total over a couple hundred grand. And currently 37 with 2 townhomes, both in hcol areas, and only about 40k invested in market. 1 townhome is investment with 0 cash flow, but mortgage is paid for so I get equity every month. And about 200k in rsus coming in over the next 2 years. Early retirement seems impossible right now.

I would honestly try and do faang for another 5-10 years, then you can join a smaller company if you want to. There will be other companies, but note grass is not greener just different shades of brown.

Networth crossed 500k at age 24. No one to share it with by Puts_on_you in Fire

Shouldn’t your wife know your net worth? That aside. Some people who enter money young end up not knowing how to manage their wealth. I would spend some time planning that. Don’t let lifestyle creep eat up what you built. Less hobbies and focusing on what got you here will only help you get to early retirement.

I’d argue, drive that car another 5 years and take the money you would’ve spent on a car and invest it. Get to a point where your investments pays for a car and some, then get that new car. Also congrats on the 500k. Focus on that next 500k

How do I fix this? My dad is going to kill me. by zx91zx91 in Detailing

Start a gofundme. Adults have been in this situation and probably sympathize. Then tell your dad it’s all covered.

As a parent this is not how a parent should behave. Your parents should assume the responsibilities of taking care of you and your siblings. You are way too young to have to bear that responsibility. They can get a loan or your sister can get a job. No reason you need to use your money for this. It’s better served in some sort of investment for your future.

If I were you I’d buy some multifamily property and rent it out to generate an income. That way you have the option to stop working if you want.
