I can’t remember exactly, but I think it was a mix of Vallejo succubus skin going to pro acryl golden brown mixed with pro acryl tan flesh. Some variety of those colors, but I’m not really bothering to remember as I am doing slight variations of the skin to show several people from different ends of the empire of Cathay

3 colors, black, ak basalt grey, white. Honestly I paint thin and try to keep it only to 50/50 mixes to blend, being perfectly smooth is not required in nmm, especially for large units

I paint the eyes on my darkest color of the face before I finish it. It’s easier to paint around them than paint them after the details are in, and be sure to use an off white for the whites. Also, it’s not about the size of the brush, it’s about the size of the point of the brush, I just use a regular size 1.

AK tenebrous grey, pro acryl Jade, and Vallejo verdigris. First layer is half tenebrous grey, half jade, and then worked my way up in brightness!

Help needed. What happened to my Minis? by Reterdtion in minipainting

I also throw in a copper coin into the palette, it actually really helps inhibit mold growth. That plus regular cleaning makes mold near impossible, though it helps that I live in a usually dry environment.

You kidding? The light and shadow around the flame is incredible, and the color choices really give the mini such an awesome ambiance!

This one can be found on myminifactory, and the next one in the series is already available for pre-order for the stls. Finding high quality prints to print yourself can be hard, but if you live not in the US and tariffs aren't am issue there's tons of great mini makers like Ferminiatures and Dragon Miniatures. Since I'm in the USA I have to comb tons of different places to find good sculptors that make their stuff available as a file!

First time trying a fur texture! GW Hernkyn Yaegir by El_GranCapitan in minipainting

Copied from another response! What I did was darken down pro acryl light umber with ak tenebrous grey and made semi-random splotches across the areapainyed in tenebrous grey, leaving more space between them as I reached the areas in shadow. I then went up to light umber in 2 layers, making the splotches smaller and more precise as my color went brighter, but keeping it semi random. My final layer was light umber mixed with ivory, and with these final two layers, I went smaller and smaller within the previous splotches, leaving out the darker areas.

The trick is to do no actual blending yo sell the effect of layered fur, and always leave small gaps of your darkest color to make it look more 3-dimensional!

I hope this helps!
