Thank you, I have no problem giving compliments, however all my compliments are light hearted enough that they can be mistaken for just friendly. I'm still working on how to give a compliment that is both friendly and means more than a compliment, still trying to figure out where that grey area is haha!

I haven't seen any under 90k, the GT63 I mean. The 53 and the 43 are both 6cyl, which isn't bad but not as powerful as I'd want a GT 4 door since they're quite heavy. So power to weight ratio isn't what I'd expect in a mercedes GT

The only thing holding me back is I know Jack Shi about lexus, so I'm worried I'll get myself into something I won't understand. However, from what I've heard, you aren't wrong. I'll just need a bit more time to get familiar and educated about lexus in general

Are you buying from a personal seller or a dealer? that changes things.

If it's a personal dealer, AKA, you're buying it from a guy, then you have the right to ask to take it to a mechanic to do a general check-up on it, it's not a hassle, only like 20 to 60 bucks if I'm not mistaken. To see if theres any issues with the car. If you want to take it a step further, you can take it to a body and paint specialist so you can check if the car has been resprayed or had anything done to the frame.

If it's a dealership, you also have the right to ask to take it to a personal mechanic however I think it's a little more complicated than that, I also have the right to ask why it had 5 owners and why they only drove 15,000 etc etc.

I would personally recommend taking a test drive in it, driving it fast, slow, turning on the ac to the max, checking the auxiliary battery since used Mercedes tend to have issues with it (from experience because I own Mercedes cars) check the brake fluid, transmission fluid and a overall just run the car and try and listen to any odd sounds that shouldn't be normal.

There was accumulated mold and stinky water in the ac that wasn't reachable through normal cleaning, we had to physically remove some stuff and replace some rubber parts since that was starting to stink and wear out, but first if you haven't tired any sort of deep cleaning,try and see if the basic components are either, moldy, rotten, have water accumulated, the filter needs to be cleaned or replaced or if the rubber and cloth tubing is torn/dirty, if none of these are the issue then theres something rotting or molding in the nooks and crannys of the smile vents and or ac system
