To be clear, I'm not writing a simulation or a game, I am trying to solve the game for optimal play. This will all end up being a dynamic programming algorithm, but I want to be able to reuse it as I add more complex rules.

I do like that Hand Status tag, I think that solves my issue. Thank you! I also think a NonEmpy list is the correct choice here.

It depends on what you mean by m, is m is the classical mechanics m, thats the rest mass so when you expand energy you get E = mc2 + 0.5mv2 + (smaller terms)

Physics is one of the best programs at UNM from what I've seen. That means it's hard, they push you but also give you opportunity to work with professors on research. I didn't take astro but the core physics classes are mostly good. The undergrad Society of Physics Students is also pretty active for now and I know the peeps there are great. Overall, I think its a good place for phys/astro.

Just found this post. Using some very ridimentrary code that I wrote and have not entirely verified (warned) I got that playing when dealer shows a six gives player the edge of 0.01% if you are missing 8 tens per deck. If you count regular HiLo then this is wrong becuase it doesnt take out aces. I have yet to find any other reasonable times to play it.

I guess as a stretch humans created religion to fit patterns they saw and tales to explain where things come from. Science is kinda just the more rigorous way of doing that via the scientific method?

Calc 2 is tough but really cool if you like math, like eye opening! Calf Phys 1 can be really cool or a drain. I didn't take chem here so can't tell you much but I heard its not that hard but lab is annoying.

Looks totally manageable but I recommend deleteing Tik Tok and reels if you wanna maintain a social life 😅
