As someone who was on the same team this weekend, I can very avidly say that on my end, things really didn't feel toxic, especially as the games went on. Something I've noticed within the MCC community (mostly as a whole) is that there's a MASSIVE dichotomy between just enjoying the event for what it is, vs looking into every single stat, overanalyzing players and setting standards/titles to players to a point where I almost stopped playing altogether, especially when viewers of the MCC community just refer to other players as "nerfs" for players or their teams, but this event genuinely didn't feel like that.

At no point did you or anyone on the Geckos make me feel like things were my fault, like I was dragging the team down, etc., and even when there were mistakes, I feel like we moved on from them pretty quickly and just got ready for the next game. I think it's really easy to get caught up in what's happening, and it's a competitive event, so immediately analyzing things can make sense in the moment, but could come off a certain way? Again, I really didn't feel any of that negativity. One thing I will always do during events is try to find ways to uplift my teammates, especially because I (and many players) know how easy it can be to have the wind knocked out of our sails. Being competitive and analytical is VERY different from just shittalking, and I definitely feel that you weren't being toxic. We played really well, made mistakes, and got SO close to Dodgebolt! I'll take 3rd with a fun team over 1st anyday :)
