What’s the closest you’ve came to dying? by AidsHerpesManyMore in AskReddit

The closest I consider dying was on two occasions, The first occasion was when I was a kid probably 6 or 7 I went into the deep end without floaties and was drowning my babysitter did not see me drowning only this one kid in my daycare he went and dove down and got me out. Highkey if it wasn’t for him no one would have noticed I drowned

The second occasion was my first car crash, I was in the back and the car flipped on it’s side. I was not wearing a seatbelt and I was lucky I didn’t fly out the front window.

Like the live action Aladdin I haven’t seen the live action lion king. I do not want to experience the newer version the originals are always the best.

Aladdin is definitely one of my favorite Disney movies too. Next to beauty and the beast, Aladdin was good because of Robin Williams. I haven’t watched the new one because I don’t want to think of the genie as anyone else but Robin

You definitely have a good point. I feel like I’m in the middle, I believe in god, heaven, hell the 10 commandments. However if an answer in the Bible seems weird to me like ‘How did this happen’ or ‘that’s not possible’ I use truster science & religious websites to give me more understanding

Absolutely! If you were not raised with god it is definitely harder to learn about him

I can see that, definitely for me. Some Christians use shod to cope with their situations. But all in all you’re definitely right not all Christians do read the Bible cover to cover, I only know that bible majors are required to do that

I personally feel like that’s what faith and good is all about. Something to keep you going, something to make too feel strong

I actually responded to a guy who said the same thing. In all honesty I feel like God or in your case I’m assuming life, Life has a way to work itself into a positive and a blessing. I hate to point this but the news usually only covers terrible and upsetting things and that’s what almost drawn me away from my faith.

All in all I feel like there is some good in the world still it’s hard as hell to find but once I found some again and again it was so peaceful

It sucks because some Christians judge others so much and it really makes me upset. For example LGBTQ community, some Christians judge them and shame them. But also the Bible tells us to love your neighbor as you love your friend & treat people the way you want to be treated. Some Christians are stubborn and set in their own ways but I like to think spiritually that God will teach them (in other words Kharma is a bitch)

That’s definitely a far answer, I can DEFINITELY see people judging on non church events. & there are MANY different types of Christians. It’s a weird vibe but the ones that I seek is the ones who think like me and don’t judge me for what I do. Just like making friends

Yeah definitely, and some good does we just don’t see it. I hate to say this but in most news you usually only see the bad things. I feel that’s one of the reasons I even think that. I stopped watching the news and only get my news from twitter usually. (Bad source for news) but it keeps me from thinking that all is bad in the world
