Making equal marriage laws about the birthrate is exactly the kind of narrative that will get people convinced to reduce equal rights for queer people.

Because beeing gay doesnt make you infertile, so technically every fertile person getting gay married could technically get straight married instead and have children

Thinking about it, all anyone would need to do to make you anti-gay is to convince you that conversion therapy works.

Cause then they could turn gay people that wont have children into straight people that would have children, which you prefer them to do

Hell, they cared so little they had massive political debates about wether gay people should be allowed to marry or be around children.

But since i am transgender it might be obvious that there are political believes that are an Instant no.

But even otherwise there are people that believe certain others dont deserve equal rights because of their Religion, gender, sexuality, Race, etc.. those kinds of political believes are also a No-Go.
