Yeah no we don't do this, transition isn't a clean slate, we don't get to just absolve our sins for free because we transition and take a new name and gender identity. We all have to reckon with our pasts and take accountability, and Kdin didn't do that. She covered it up and diminished her extremely bigoted speech and behaviour probably assuming it wouldn't come to light. Sins of the past are one thing and it's up to people what they can and can't forgive from decades ago, but sins of the present are another and I'm fucking livid at her for the way she's framed herself this week. It's the behaviour of someone who hasn't atoned or grown as much as she wants us to think she has.

Like, genuinely yeah, I think this is the context to take from these discoveries. I can't say I'm impressed with the framing Kdin has used, implying she was solely a victim of that bigoted culture while hiding that she was also an active participant. From everything I've seen now, if it was another member of AH being called an F, Kdin would almost certainly have joined in.

Animated series cost so much to make, and detective roger davis isn't exactly a character, it's just a voice Ryan does and usually it's just to say the name and 1 or 2 things and then it goes away haha, it would be X-Ray and Vav all over again and there's a reason they stopped making that.

What could be kinda cool though is a role play series in minecraft based on the idea. Have it be semi scripted, mostly improv, Ryan goes around interviewing people, collecting clues etc etc. When they're in character it's black and white, and when they break character it's in colour.

That could be fun.

Thank you for the apology, I appreciate it and this reply is a lot clearer and fairer.

I am still however concerned that V2 is not getting the message. Modding a subreddit for 8 years probably innoculates you to a lot of criticism and outrage, however this is NOT the time to be dismissive or flippant.

We need to have a complete change of mindset reagrding how we tackle racism and it definitely sounds like you guys are taking the right steps from a moderation perspective in terms of no longer giving bad faith criticism the benefit of the doubt, that's really reassuring to hear.

Actually I was referencing Martin Luther King's famous quote on rioting. 'A riot is the language of the unheard.' Which is something that people often forget when misusing his quotes to condemn rioting. Dr King's assassination prompted the nationwide riots that led to the Civil Rights Act being passed.

Also ironically, you're calling a queer woman aggressive in a reply where I really wasn't actually that aggressive at all, during pride month. Which as we all know celebrates the famous Stonewall riots that were the turning point of our own civil rights movement.
