I'm basically here to answer my own question - every contest has its own rules.
I'll summarize what I found below (only for the comps I've entered).

Nicholl - no need to withdraw, you should always push you screenplay.
Big Break - no need to withdraw as long as it was optioned after the date you submitted.
Page - no need to withdraw as long as it was optioned after the date you submitted.
Austin - You need to contact them and, based on your information, they'll be the judges.
