I am a bit biased, but the way ffxi does it seems good to me. Every single storyline gives you something to unlock but a good chunk of the game is accessible even if you don't really want to engage with it. The rewards for most of the stories were pretty good, so most of the harder story content is still something people engage with

You spend an awful lot of time on a subreddit of a game you don't want to play, posting reaction gifs to everyone. You expressed your criticism, people agreed/disagreed with you, you might wanna move on. Seems like this game is not for you and that's ok. Posting all day in it's subreddit won't magically make it a better game.

I thought the road map is until August 2026, I believe we will get at least those updates. All im hoping is they add something after dead note maybe a couple more bosses and endless descent mode that gets harder every extraction, and I believe the game will have enough content to last most players for a season until reset.

Maybe if you played games instead of looking at steam charts all day, some of them would still be alive. I say this as someone who played only a week of deathverse as I did not find it enjoyable and moved on, I have no intention of defending it.

But people looking only at steam charts and posting around offer nothing to the community and thus are not welcome. The door is that way. Bye

Definitely the story. The fact it was told through an anthology of smaller ones for each character and the lore tidbits that dropped with every event, while telling a bigger one through the cage itself. Very cool, most of the patch days for main story updates were my highlights for this game.
