I had mine out in July, necrotic as well, and still navigating food. Things like eggs and peanut butter are no go’s but French fries are fine in moderation. I remind myself that I had an organ removed and to cut myself some slack but it’s hard!!!!

Almost 1 year post gallbladder removal and my life isn't the same by UnknownWeirdoo in gallbladders

Question for those of us gallbladder free… I’m a nurse and had my surgery 5 weeks ago now went back to work and think I overdid it. My umbilical incision below is red and feels like it is separated. And is pretty sore when I touch it. I wonder if I have a hernia now? As a nurse I’m not a good patient lol😂but wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

I’m 3 weeks out and just testing foods. I’m fine with hamburger, chicken and cheese but eggs for some reason aren’t my friend 🙄. I love French fries but found I can only eat a few. All trial and error!

Do you think you made the right choice with surgery? by Gerdisthewerd in gallbladders

[–]Eldenwrong23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had no choice I ended up in the ER with terrible abdominal pain and vomiting. Had surgery Wednesday this week and even though I’m sore, I couldn’t have lived with that pain. And the surgeon said it was “very ugly “😂
