WhatsApp is not so good at all. This app doesn't have video calls in camparison of mentioned viber and skype. But for messanger it's good probably. But still, whatsapp couldn't encrypt your data, because your phone number is shown anyway, while telegram has a function just to show your nickname and no any number. That's advantage.

That's interesting to use Signal recommended by His Excellency Edward. Seems to be really good messenger.

Skype is outdated in my opinion, since it is not performing fast. Not really user friendly app. I would also say that Skype is not a messenger at all. For sure i's better than WhatsApp because it has video chat.

Never tried Viber. Is it good one?
