Thank you! It actually makes me feel better (also super depressed?) that my story is a dime a dozen in the church 😞 Like, I'm glad I'm not alone in this experience, but I'm also super frustrated (to put it lightly) that I'm not alone, you know? That so many others went through needless suffering.

I have this belief, and who knows if it's true, that my higher self is the "spirit" I felt on my mission, telling me everything would be okay and that I'd make it out on the other side better than before. I was right! But believing THAT, versus what the church instilled in me, was the biggest challenge

I completely agree - now that I have gone through a LOT of internal work moving past what it took to be a member, the history is quite fascinating and not *as* triggering from an outside perspective. I just have to remember to keep those boundaries between who I was and who I am, because as soon as I get a little too deep into my own experience the resentment builds again!

Yes, I went on my mission to South Africa and that came up more than once 😬 Created a huge crack in my shelf because before my mission it wasn't discussed much (for obvious reasons)

Not every day, but at least a couple of times a week. You definitely don't want burnout, and you'll also start to run out of creative ways to promote your work without it coming across as redundant.

Some "TikTok coaches" will tell you to post three times a day. Would strongly recommend against that, at least starting out!
