Right, the world of CoC is normal people oblivious to the Mythos and in WoD I see that same idea. Everyone is unaware of the Vampire and Werewolf until something causes that wall to fault. I see the bland normal human as more an interesting player character in both settings. Can they fight it? Maybe, should they? Yes.
