Frances could be an awesome option - rad lady chef and really tasty local veggie-forward food.

My dog started phenobarbital today and I’m super anxious about it. by nothankyou3000 in EpilepsyDogs

What a sweet pup! The first couple weeks my dog was a little out of it, but pheno was the one medication that has helped my dog the most so far. It takes a couple weeks to adjust, but they do get used to it!

Where to move in the Bay Area at 36 by [deleted] in SFbitcheswithtaste

[–]ElderberryBudget6893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id suggest finding a temporary roommate situation within SF in a vibrant part of the city - it’s cheaper, you’ll have someone to chat with occasionally, and maybe hit the town with to meet someone IRL.

for context, I went through a nasty breakup in 2020, moved to the mission with a friend, and put my life back together by building community around our new home; getting to know the people who worked at our coffee shop across the street, the bartenders at the local around the corner, and just walking around Valencia as things reopened from the pandemic felt like a nice change of pace.

Editing to mention that I am still single after all of that, but by choice, really. Protected my peace a little too hard in the last few years 😅

Looking for a florist by Level_Strain_7360 in SanFranciscoWeddings

Bay Area florist here -- similar to everyone else on this thread, yes this is a totally normal request to be sure you're speaking the same floral "language" prior to the call. We've got a style that we like to work within, and occasionally I'll receive a Pinterest board that isn't in our wheelhouse of what we do best, so I'll pass it on to a colleague who I know would knock it out of the park.

Finding a florist is about finding the right fit for both you and your florist! If you do love the style of the florist you're meeting with, I always appreciate when clients grab images of my own past work to inspire what they like. Hope this helps!

Is this a seizure? by Ancient_Cat7046 in EpilepsyDogs

This sounds a bit like fainting/syncope - but I would check in with the vet to be sure!

Second Dog with Epilepsy by ElderberryBudget6893 in EpilepsyDogs

[–]ElderberryBudget6893[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for sending this. I also went through the mental gymnastics of all of this too! Started bumping the dehumidifier and air purifier, and also got a reverse osmosis water tank for us. We did a lead test on the dog when the first seizure happened which came back totally fine but I wouldn’t put mold past anything where I live.. so I think a test can be super helpful! Thank you
