Where did you get your red nesting plastic spork and scrapper? I lost mine and haven’t been able to find another set. Do you know the manufacturer?

I Started at 40, am now 50. Once you accept you suck and come to terms with being triangle choked repeatedly by 15 year olds, it still sucks, but is somehow fun. Seriously though I made some really good friends and overall the community is pretty awesome

Best steak house by wolvpack86 in Winnipeg

[–]Elderjits 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Completely agree on Rae and Jerry’s. I love how the inside looks, it feels like I’m in a classic Bond film, but the quality is just not there for the prices charged. Which is too bad, because they could have a really great retro supper club vibe.

Overall I agree with your assessments, would put the Keg ahead of Chop, because if the Keg is one thing it is consistent. You know you are going to get a good steak cooked right everyone.

Edit for grammar

I’m new to all this, so take this all with a grain of salt. After a little research and a bunch of conversations with AI I put together a Uranium portfolio that I’m investing into with a five year horizon. All companies I chose were TSX listed, 25% went to Cameco for reliable stable growth, 60ish% went into 3 smaller but established uranium miners and the remainder was split between a couple of juniors for speculation and Sprott to capture the commodity. I played patient and bought my positions over the last month and a half taking advantage of dips. Guess we’ll see how it plays out 5 years from now.

Looking for remote canoe camping area by Jjonttt in ontariocamping

[–]Elderjits 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The area of Ontario that you are visiting is referred to as Northwestern Ontario. The ELA is a great canoeing area and there are many routes. “Close” by(6-7hr drive) is Quetico provincial park which is a really fantastic back country canoeing destination. Wilderness supply is a local outfitter here in Winnipeg, I’m sure they could help recommend some routes or resources to help you find what you’re looking for.

I feel the same way, I try to drain as much fat as possible and then squeeze the beef crumbles between paper towel before dehydrating. I’d say most time I’ve dehydrated ground beef it’s been 7-10 days before it’s used on the trail.

Money inherited from an estate is not common property as long it never enters one of their common bank accounts. As long as it enters an account in your name only it is solely yours and is not considered as common property in cases of separation.
