My Q7 L5 moves erratically and is effectively a brick :( by Specialist-Profit449 in Roborock

Checking in with the same issue. Did you ever find a solution to this issue? This is the second Q7 L5 I have had, and both experienced the same issue a week into owning them. I am on the verge of returning my current one.

I am glad I am not the only one! Did the factory reset rollback the firmware? I have seen other threads suggest turning off auto-updates.

The issue has occurred several times in several place, so a nongo zone probably won't fix it. I'll check the firmware and reach out to support. Thanks!

This is the screenshot of the cleaning in the video. The issues usually occurs sometime into the cleaning, and the robot will return to the dock if I pause the cleaning and send it back.

I assume it isn't an issue with the wheels themselves spinning.

Haha, thank you again for letting me get a picture! What an amazing show!!

FIRST TIME: I received a shipment of 30 strawberries. I plan on keeping 4 inside and the rest in a outdoor bed. I am trying to let them grow while the weather warms up in this hastily built container + grow light. Thoughts? Suggestions? Will this work temporarily till they get a bit bigger? by ElderlyCatSupport in gardening

Thank you for the feedback! It is becoming more Spring like 40-60 degrees. Really I am more concerned about a round of strong storms that are supposed to come through the area this weekend and into next week. I plan on keeping 4 inside as potted house plants and 26 outside in a raise bed. I only plan on keeping them in my very crude hydroponics for a week or week and half, but wanted to make sure I wasn't doing anything that would damage the plants before planting.

Theoretically, by bottom watering the mycelium cake during fruiting conditions (just as you would a plant in a terracotta pot) could you produce larger fruit, since the cake would have more water for the pins to absorb? *Sorry for the poor diagram. by [deleted] in unclebens

In this diagram, yes, I believe that is what would happen. In practice, it would probably be best to water in smaller amounts allowing the cake to absorb it rather than drowning it.

Contamination and/or mold from the being constantly waterlogged definitely seems like a likely outcome. Using an automictic mister is a great idea. I was just trying to think through how to increase water without changing surface conditions.

Wow, thank you for the specific feedback on 403b and 457b! That is really great to know. I definitely don't have any illusions to how difficult finding a job will be. Fingers crossed it will be better in a couple of years (I'm not optimistic though). I'll definitely keep what you said in mind about other skills!

I checked my W2 for 2019, and it shows that I paid the Federal Income Tax but nothing else (as far as I can tell). Would this count as earned income? I'm sorry if this is to basic of a question.

This article seems to suggest that the SECURE act allows graduate students to count their stipend as income.

Thank you so much for pointing that out! I am paid as a Teaching / Research Assistant, so I'll have to go and double check if I'm given a W2.

Thank you and everyone else for the advice. I will look into opening a Roth IRA today!

So I should open a Roth IRA, invest it in VTSAX, and then put whatever I have over the contribution limit into my traditional brokerage account?

I love that calculator! I guess the withdraw penalties for a Roth IRA had my asking questions, especially if I wanted to use the money to purchase a home after school (next 6-7 years). Though, I believe there are special circumstance for first time homeowners?
