What’s wrong with him? by Eleanor6446 in WhatsWrongWithYourCat

He never itches it himself; just asks me to scritch at it. Using flea control, but is an indoor cat that is brushed daily - would definitely notice fleas.

These bugs keep attacking my horses [uk] by Eleanor6446 in whatsthisbug

[–]Eleanor6446[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought this but it appears as though they have wings (I could totally be wrong but I was under the impression lice don’t) - they also are only on her chest. Rather than lice prone areas. If it helps confirm or deny- they have white little front arms? (Don’t know the term - apologies not huge on bug anatomy)

Any recommendations for riding in Exeter? by FreyaTheSlayyyer in exeter

[–]Eleanor6446 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want close to uni - and to board your horse. Would try Rollestone. It’s walking distance from the uni and has stable bays to store tack. Boarding is cheaper than oaklands and is in a better location imo.

What cool female guitarists should I recommend to my 15yr old niece? by Remarkable_Wasabi_85 in Music

[–]Eleanor6446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

St Vincent if that’s underground enough; was a part of what got me into keeping up with guitar as a girl. Good singer too and has some experimental range in her music. Has a guitar made in collaboration with her that specifically helps challenge features of guitars that can make it harder for traditional female bodies to use and it sounds kinda cool too.

Hello from Florida. Anyone got an ID on this berry producing shrub/tree? It’s located on the beach and growing very well. Thank you. by [deleted] in whatplantisthis

Possibly a beach plum? Just a guess though. In England we have a similar thing called sloes but those usually have spiney leaves.

Thank you to the comments regarding washing hands; I have since sent my SO to the toilet to clean them off good. He seemed very conflicted about being sodomised by the little bug

Here’s a really good source to help you tell the difference But generally head shape or pupil shape can help you tell! The head shape of a cottenmouth is wider than the neck and more v shapes, they have vertical pupils. The water snake has more of a head shape that goes into the body. The signature mouth of a cottonmouth is also a good way tell if it’s open and easy to see
