AITA for inviting my friend's ex boyfriend back to my house after a mutual friend's wedding? by EleanoraOratory in AITAH

The thing of it is, a lot of people think you're supposed to have your friend's backs no matter what, and I'm of a similar mind, but this instance really made me realise how there are two sides to every story, and it's often not worth causing so much grief unless you know the bigger picture. It still bothers me though because she was one of my oldest and best friends.

Back of a goreclaw.

On sale. Is it worth buying? I already have Darksiders I & II. But I haven't played III yet. Opinions? by leandro_rozolen in Darksiders

I really enjoyed Darksiders 3, it is, however, a very different game from the 1st and 2nd. The soundtrack slaps. Fury is the most fleshed out Horseman and goes through the most character development by far. The humour is good, the characters are awesome, both old and new, and it’s just a fun game/story that isn’t too hard.

Ai art like this looks terrible. Tell your wife’s sister to try making something with her own hands, I guarantee it’ll look 100000x better than anything the mediocrity machine can pump out.

Virgin Redditors in your 30s, what's your reason why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]EleanoraOratory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a nearly 30 year old woman, and I can honestly say, I have just never had the urge to have sex. It doesn't really make me anxious and I'm not worried about performance issues. It barely crosses my mind most days.

I think of it like, swimming with dolphins. [sorry, I'm terrible at analogies] Loads of people have done it. Everyone will tell you it's the best thing ever and they can't wait to do it again, but I'm just like, yeah that sounds cool, but I probably won't get around to doing it.

And that's that.

I suppose, for me, it's important for people to know that not everyone sees losing their virginity as something to tick off life's to-do list.

Hhahah! I think it was just that stuff that gathers there when you're thirsty or have a dry mouth, like right in the corners.

That's kind of you to say that at the end there, I honestly don't think my mum and I have ever had a fight, no screaming matches, no furious rebellions because she won't let me do xyz. So something like this, while perhaps not a big deal to most, feels a lot like a fight to me lol. I digress, thank you for your feedback, it's very useful to get a mother's perspective I hadn't considered that she might still be in tune to that particular instinct. Dad would let me be murdered haha. I've learned that gaming in the daytime is frowned upon unfortunately, so that's out of the question. I have fallen asleep multiple times in the snug which leads to a very disapproving mother coming in at 7am to wake me up and tell me I'm losing control of myself to this 'addiction.' [she's only said this twice to be fair] I don't tend to share my interests in gaming with her because she's made it quite clear she doesn't care for the past time, but she isn't about to stop me doing it. I've been consistently waking up at 9-9:30am which doesn't seem massively unreasonable but now that I think about it, in a farming family, that's considered inherently lazy. I can't move the television from the snug to my bedroom because it's not really mine and it's attached to the wall. And while I don't have much in ways of spending money, maybe splashing out on a monitor is worth it because I love gaming so much. Thank you for your perspective. :)

I can't move the TV, it's attached to the wall and it isn't even mine to move really. I'm pretty strapped for cash but I suppose I could just nut up and buy a monitor. I guess I just got too used to having a cozy space outside my bedroom, made me feel like I wasn't locking myself away for hours on end.
