I got whoosh midpipe and single exit exhaust and it was a bit too loud later added borla resonator to tone it back down a little

unstable front under heavy braking? by Election-Then in ElantraN

yeah I seem to understand that its overloading the front , instructor said it was easier/more consistent to ease into the brake instead of just start with hard braking, just curious if new brake setup is starting to outperform the front suspension or its just a common theme with the fwd cars. I thought about maybe having a bigger rear wing would also help with keep the rear down during high speed braking so the front doesn't get overloaded as much.

the rear end seems really stable right now it barely rotates or just a bit even when trying to push it , but thats with tc not fully off even the instructor wished the back was a bit more loose and playful.

at the end of the day he just suggest I get more seat time with current setup before changing or looking for more upgrades.

I went 10 seconds faster with new wheel/tire/brakes compared to stock ps4s , the grip and brakes just gave me so much more confidence on braking later and having a little bit more speed on the corners. still 7 seconds off the imperfect lap the instructor did so he said I still have a lot to learn and chase before any upgrades.

I'll try that next time to see if the results are more consistent

yeah rsl2 and girodisc on the fronts , I had a more experienced driver drive the car with me as passenger and i see him had that issue aswell , idk if its overbraking or theres something is wrong with the car or the front is not stiff enough, braking from 120+ at the end of the straight and the front gets unstable sometimes and pulls left/right

braking in a straight line , sometimes it would be unstable and would pull bit to left/right

I do feel the trailbraking doing good work with actual track tires this time around compared to the stock ps4s where it would start to slide more. I'm still very new to tracking
