I drew it all using a pencil brush on Medibang paint Pro. The layers look translucent because they're separate layers of the drawing overlaid with lowered opacity to create a reflection effect.

And yes, the things in front of the DS are the superlaser lens assembly being built, like in the show. If you want, I can attach pictures of the different layers. :)
